§ Mr. Parkerasked the Secretary of State for Air what provision is made for those serving in the ranks in the Royal Air Force to join or retain membership in trade unions connected with either their former and/or future trades?
§ Sir K. WoodAirmen who are members of trades unions on enlistment may continue in membership if they so desire and other airmen may join a trade union at any time during their service. The advantages of joining a trade union before returning to civil life are brought to the notice of airmen some time before they are due for discharge or transfer to the Reserve.
