asked the Home Secretary whether he will indicate the average number of days sick leave taken by prison officers, principal officers, and chief officers in His Majesty's prisons during the last 12 months for which statistics are available; and the maladies from which officers of these grades most frequently suffer, as disclosed by Returns in the possession of his Department?
