§ Earl Winterton:All combatant officers of the Royal Air Force are supplied with either automatic pistols or revolvers irrespective of the country in which they are serving. The automatic pistols were purchased during the Great War and may have been made in America. They are gradually being replaced by revolvers which are manufactured in this country.
