HC Deb 04 May 1938 vol 335 c888W
Mr. R. C. Morrison

asked the Minister of Transport whether his attention has been called to the dislocation of rail traffic caused by recent fires at rubber dumps at Bermondsey and Tottenham; and whether he will take steps to compel railway companies to guard against the danger and inconvenience likely to arise from the use of railway arches or land adjoining railway sidings as rubber dumps?

Mr. Burgin:

I am in correspondence with the railway companies in the matter and will communicate with the hon. Member in due course.
