Mr. M. MacDonaldI assume that this question refers to the reports of the Committee of the Civil Service National Whitley Council on subsistence allowances, etc. These reports concern only members of the home Civil Service, and have no application to officers of the Colonial Service, whose allowances are governed by the regulations of the particular Colonies in which they are employed.
