HC Deb 21 June 1938 vol 337 cc912-3W
Sir N. Grattan-Doyle

asked the Postmaster-General whether he intends to introduce legislation designed to require precautions to be taken to prevent interference with radio and television reception?

Sir W. Womersley

The necessary inquiries regarding the possible scope and operation of a new Wireless Telegraphy Bill to deal, inter alia, with the question of electrical interference with wireless reception are being actively pursued. Consultations are proceeding with the commercial arid other interests affected; but in view of the complexity of the questions involved the inquiries will necessarily take some time to complete.
