HC Deb 09 February 1938 vol 331 c1064W
Captain P. Macdonald

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air when it is anticipated the inquiry into civil aviation is likely to be completed; and whether it will be possible for the report of the committee to be debated upon the Air Estimates for the forthcoming financial year?

Mr. Perkins

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he has yet received the Cadman Report on civil aviation?

Lieut.-Colonel Muirhead

My Noble Friend has just received the report of the Cadman Committee. The report contains a number of recommendations requiring Government decision. The Government will at once consider these recommendations and will publish the report together with their decisions when the necessary decisions have been taken. I cannot at present name a date by which publication will take place, but in any case opportunity will be given to the House for the discussion of the report.
