§ Captain CrookshankIt is estimated that 241,183,000 tons of saleable coal were produced in Great Britain in 1937, of which 224,400,000 tons were disposable commercially, and 40,352,000 tons exported as cargo. Complete information is not yet available but it is estimated that during 1937 proceeds amounted to 15s. 10d. per ton disposable commercially.
