WomersleyDuring the last three years, the firms who promote football pools are known to have instituted 21 prosecutions on charges of fraud or attempted fraud through the medium of the Post Office services in connection with betting including football and jockey pools. There may also have been a few such prosecutions which did not come to the notice of the Post Office.
