HC Deb 21 December 1938 vol 342 cc2916-7W
Sir W. Allen

asked the Secretary of State for War whether, as the Departmental Committee on Courts-martial Procedure reported some months ago, he can state the cause of the delay in informing the House of the conclusions arrived at; whether it is the intention of his Department to publish the report; and will he also say if and when he proposes to take action to carry out the recommendations of the committee?

Sir V. Warrender

The report has required careful consideration and consultation between the Departments concerned, and my right hon. Friend is not yet in a position to announce a decision on the committee's recommendations, or as to the publication of the report.
