§ Sir P. SassoonThe next section for which it is proposed to invite tenders consists chiefly of buildings and protective earthworks, but will include some railway and other site-works. The estimated2000W cost is between £400,000 and £500,000. The list of firms to be invited has not yet been settled, but it will include all suitable Scottish firms. It is not yet possible to give even an approximate estimate of the amount and value of the concrete work involved which will, however, be included in the building contract.
