§ Mr. ColvilleWater in Eriskay is obtained from wells and springs, and I am informed that the local authority have taken the view that a gravitation supply for the island cannot be provided at a reasonable cost. The results of a survey carried out by the county council's consulting engineers have not yet, however, been considered by the council.
