§ Mr. E. BrownOn 1st April, 1938, the total balance of the Unemployment Fund was about £43,520,000, after the application on 31st March, 1938, of a sum of £20,000,000 to the reduction of the debt of the fund in accordance with the recommendation of the Unemployment Insurance Statutory Committee.
