Mr. Davidsonasked the Minister of Transport whether, following the evidence submitted during the inquiry on the Castlecary railway disaster, any change is contemplated in the signalling system of the Scottish section of the London and North Eastern Railway?
§ Mr. BurginI am informed by the London and North Eastern Railway Company that no change is at present contemplated in the signalling system on the section of the Company's lines in question but that if the report of my Chief 1335W Inspecting Officer makes any suggestions in regard to signalling, these will be carefully considered.
