HC Deb 14 April 1938 vol 334 cc1334-5W
Mr. Davidson

asked the Minister of Transport whether, following the evidence submitted during the inquiry on the Castlecary railway disaster, any change is contemplated in the signalling system of the Scottish section of the London and North Eastern Railway?

Mr. Burgin

I am informed by the London and North Eastern Railway Company that no change is at present contemplated in the signalling system on the section of the Company's lines in question but that if the report of my Chief Inspecting Officer makes any suggestions in regard to signalling, these will be carefully considered.
