§ Mr. BurginThe answer to the first part of the question is that preliminary expenditure necessarily incurred will rank if and when a grant is made towards the cost of erecting the bridge. As to the second part I have in mind at present the settlement of certain technical details regarding the bridge and approach roads which I understand have been discussed between the joint committee and the consulting engineers.
