HC Deb 16 November 1937 vol 329 cc229-30W
Mr. Groves

asked the Minister of Transport whether he will consult the London Passenger Transport Board in respect to the present inadequacy of travelling facilities provided by them in the place of the West Ham tramways, and make representations in order that better arrangements are made?

Mr. Burgin

The Board have informed me that the trolley buses which have taken the place of the tramways contain more seats than the latter. The Intervals

of the services have, with a few minor exceptions, remained unchanged, but increased services have been provided on Saturday afternoons, and the services on other days of the week are under review.
