§ The Attorney-GeneralI have been asked to reply. It is true that there is no up-to-date general index of local statutes although there is published each year as one of the official publications for 'which the Statute Law Committee is responsible an Index of Local and Public Acts of the Session. A consolidated index of the Local Acts covering the period from 1900 onwards would be a matter for consideration by the Statute Law Committee. I will take steps to see that this matter is considered by that Committee at its next meeting.
