HC Deb 10 November 1937 vol 328 c1786W
Mr. De la Bère

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Education whether he will consider recommending to the education authorities that a rural bias be given to the education in the central schools in the counties for the purpose of encouraging young boys to stay on the land instead of drifting to the towns?

Mr. Lindsay

I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer which I gave to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Howdenshire (Major Carver) on 28th October, a copy of which I am sending him.
