asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he can give particulars as to the salary, bonus, leave, and sick-leave privileges allowed to the dispensary assistant for State and surgery duties at the Royal Naval medical depot, Deptford; and whether this individual is paid for a six- or seven-day week?

Lieut.-Colonel Llewellin

The Dispensary Assistant for Store and Surgery duties at the Royal Naval Medical Store depot, Deptford, is paid on the scale £178 10s.—£10—£252 15s. per annum, and receives in addition £18 London allowance. He is at present at the point £236 17s. in the scale. He is entitled to 21 days' leave a year and to the normal sick leave privileges applicable to established staff, i.e., six months on full pay and six months on half pay, subject to the usual limits and conditions. He is paid on the basis of a six-day week.
