Mr. Kennedy

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he has considered the resolution unanimously adopted at a conference of Members of Parliament and local authorities in Scotland, calling for the public control of materials for house building, with particular reference to the prices and quantities of such materials; and what action is proposed to increase the subsidies available to local authorities under the Housing Acts of 1930 and 1935?
