Mr. T. Morrisasked the Minister of Labour what State arrangements exist in Wales for giving Workers skilled training to meet the existing demand for labour?
§ Mr. E. BrownThe Ministry has not so far established any Government training centres in Wales. There are, however, two centres in operation, one at Pentrebach and the other at Oakdale, and a third under construction on the Treforest Trading Estate, at which a short course of preliminary training is available, after which suitable men may pass on to one of the other centres, or are available for local work of certain kinds.
