HC Deb 03 November 1937 vol 328 c956W
Captain P. Macdonald

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he can make any statement with regard to his recent discussion with Mr. Pirow about the co-ordination of the air defences of British Africa; and whether any reorganisation is to result?

Lieut.-Colonel Muirhead

The main object of my discussion on aviation with Mr. Pirow was of a civil character. The occasion was also taken to follow up certain matters relating to defence which had previously been under discussion with Mr. Pirow. I am sure my hon. and gallant Friend will appreciate that such discussions are necessarily of a confidential character.
