asked the First Commissioner of Works whether he has yet considered making arrangements for official guides to conduct the public over the Houses of Parliament on Saturdays; and, if so, with what effect?

Yes, Sir. I have consulted the appropriate authorities. Permits are issued to approved guides to conduct the public over the Houses of Parliament on Saturdays and it is not felt advisable to appoint official guides in addition.
