§ Mr. Parkerasked the Minister of Transport, (1) what steps the Government propose to take to establish Parliamentary control over the general policy of the London Passenger Transport Board;
(2) whether the Government intend to take powers to convert any of the stock of the London Passenger Transport Board to a lower rate of interest, so as to escape the difficulties caused by over-compensation to the shareholders of the companies taken over by the Board and to enable greater benefits to be given by the Board to its employés and passengers?
