HC Deb 17 March 1937 vol 321 cc2088-9W
Major Neven-Spence

asked the Minister of Pensions why a disability pension was not granted to Mr. W. J. Sinclair, Lunnister, Sullom, Shetland, in respect of illness stated to have been contracted by him on naval service during the war of 1914–18?

Mr. Ramsbotham

I have looked into the facts of this case which I find has already been fully considered on more than one occasion. I am advised, however, that it cannot be certified that Mr. Sinclair's condition is the result of his war service. I have, therefore, no power to grant him a pension.
