§ Mr. Liddallasked the hon. and gallant Member for Rye, as representing the Forestry Commissioners, whether he is aware that there is a good demand for and a shortage of supplies of English walnut timber, Juglans regia, and that this timber can be grown in the South of England; and will he therefore arrange for groves of the walnut trees to be planted on suitable Crown and other lands over which he has jurisdiction?
