Sandford, R.E., by general court-martial, at Quetta, in January, 1934, the judge-advocate, when examined on oath by counsel for the accused, stated that he had recorded the proceedings daily in open court in his own handwriting; and will he state how this record of the procedings has been disposed of?
§ Sir V. WarrenderI am aware of the evidence given by the judge-advocate at the trial referred to. It appears clear from the recorded transactions of the court and from the evidence given by the judge-advocate that after the judge-advocate's manuscript had been typed, part of that manuscript was retained by the judge-advocate himself and that the remainder was lent to Mr. Sandford's own counsel at his request and for his convenience and was not returned by him to the judge-advocate.
