HC Deb 02 March 1937 vol 321 c190W
Miss Cazalet

asked the Lord President of the Council what provision, if any, has been made for the lower ranks of the Civil Service to see the Coronation procession?

Mr. R. MacDonald

As regards seats on the Government stands, Departments are being reminded that the lower ranks of the Civil Service should not be overlooked in any allocation they may make. In addition, a substantial allotment of the free standing space is being made to the Minor, Manipulative and Industrial grades.
