asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he can state the number of persons engaged in agricultural work in each of the counties of Wales, including Monmouth, separately, in 1913, 1920, 1930, and at the present time?

The following table gives the numbers of workers (both regular and casual) employed on agricultural holdings over one acre in extent in each county in Wales, and in the county of Monmouth, as returned by occupiers on 4th June in the years 1921, 1930 and 1936. Corresponding figures are not available in respect of 1920 or 1913.
