HC Deb 16 December 1937 vol 330 cc1355-6W
Mr. Anstruther-Gray

asked the Minister of Transport the average number of vehicles passing daily over the Kincardine-on-Forth Road Bridge on any comparable period during 1937 and 1936; and whether these figures show that increasing use is being made of this bridge?

Mr. Burgin

No count has been taken since the 28th April, 1937, when 2,313 vehicles were recorded as passing during the 24 hours. These figures showed marked increase upon those recorded on two days at the end of 1936, when 1,246 and 958 vehicles were recorded.
