§ Mr. Parkerasked the Secretary of State for War why No. 7,881,059, Corporal Charles Frank Griffin, was discharged from the Army Reserve on 23rd August, 1937, his services being no longer required; and whether it was in accord with the usual practice that a man, whose military conduct was described on leaving the Colours as exemplary and whose testimonial declared that he had performed his duties to the entire satisfaction of his superiors, should be so treated after his return to civilian life?
