asked the Minister of Health (1) the total sum paid under the Old Age Pensions Act, 1924, during the years 1934, 1935 and 1936, respectively, in the County of Northumberland, and the total sum paid by the public assistance committee of the same county to supplement

or over and for dependent children 10 years of age or over. The estimated additional cost is £80,000 a year and the changes will operate from Monday next, the 13th December. There is no specific Government grant in aid of out-relief.
