§ Sir K. WoodTwo of my officials act as observers at the meetings of this council. Whilst I am in full sympathy with the council's endeavours to promote good building, I take no responsibility for, and have no control over, their work. The council are not a statutory or official body and my annual report to Parliament would not, I feel, be the proper medium for the publication of a statement from the council such as is desired by my hon. and gallant Friend. The council will doutless make their own arrangements for publishing periodically statements giving the results of their work.
