§ Viscount CRANBORNEThe United Kingdom representative at the conference has made it clear that His Majesty's Government are for their part prepared to agree to the Turkish request, assuming that it is found possible to agree upon a convention which will settle, in a manner fair and just to all parties, the various issues which the request has raised.
