§ Mr. SHAKESPEAREThe Advisory Committee on Nutrition have represented that the available data on this subject are insufficient and have recommended that particulars should be collected on a more comprehensive scale than has hitherto been attempted. My right hon. Friend is now in consultation with his right hon. Friend the Minister of Labour regarding the information which can be obtained in the course of the inquiry which he is undertaking for the purpose of the revision of the cost-of-living index number.
