asked the hon. Member for Ipswich, as Chairman of the Kitchen Committee, whether the contributions made by Members to the staff pension fund are proving adequate to meet the calls on the fund; how many pensions are now being paid; and whether the accounts of the fund are available for Members?

The contributions are at present adequate; no pensions are being paid at present; the accounts of the fund may be seen by Members at any time.
