asked the Secretary for Mines what is the latest information available with regard to the extent to which those countries which have under taken under their agreements to purchase a certain quantity or proportion of their coal requirements from Great Britain have fulfilled their obligations under such agreements during 1934 and the first quarter of 1935?

Those countries that have undertaken under the Trade Agreements to purchase a certain quantity or proportion of British coal and have completed their purchases for the first pre scribed period have fulfilled their obligations. For some of the countries the first complete year under the agreement has not yet elapsed.
