§ Mr. D. ADAMSasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will consider instituting an inquiry into the advisability of setting up a court of appeal in the Bahama Islands, in the interest of justice to all concerned?
Mr. M. MacDONALDI have recently received proposals from the Officer Administering the Government of the Bahamas for the establishment of a court of criminal appeal for that colony. These proposals are now under consideration.
