HC Deb 02 July 1935 vol 303 cc1715-6W
Captain BULLOCK

asked the Minister of Pensions whether he will make arrangements to reopen and give sympathetic consideration to the claim for a widow's pension by Mrs. Roberts, of 30, Seafield Avenue, Great Crosby, Liverpool, widow of Captain D. J. Roberts, Royal Naval Reserve, who died in February, 1934, and who had been in receipt of a pension up to the time of his death on account of nephritis, accepted by the Ministry as due to service during the War; and whether he is aware of the hardship resulting from such a case if the dependants are not provided for by his Department?

Mr. HUDSON

I am inquiring further into the facts of this case, and will communicate later with my hon. and gallant Friend.
