§ Mr. R. EVANSasked the Minister of Labour whether he will state the number of unemployed persons who have been passed out of the Ministry's camps in Wales, and the proportion thereof who have been provided with insurable occupations and the number at present resident at these camps?
Mr. BROWNThe number of men who have completed a course of training at 3011W residential Instructional Centres and Camps in Wales or on the borders of Wales is 5,012, and the percentage of those who have obtained employment, which in the great majority of cases has been insurable is 21.5 per cent. The number of men at present resident in these Centres and Camps is 1,028.
