§ Mr. THORNEasked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that, in connection with the decision given by the Stockton-on-Tees court of referees which refused benefit to an applicant because she was dismissed by her employer for joining a trade union, the court of referees stated that it was misconduct for an employee to join a trade union against the wishes of an employer; and whether he will take steps to facilitate an appeal from the referees to the umpire in this case?
