§ Sir K. WOODThe provision of Crown Post Offices is determined primarily by volume of postal work and not on the basis of population. On the basis of work the majority of places with a population of the order named would have a Crown Post Office, but the number of exceptions could not be given without extensive inquiry. If the hon. Gentleman will let me know what places he has in mind, I shall be glad to consider whether there is a case for the establishment of Crown Offices.
