Viscountess ASTORasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether the Government have taken any decision with regard to paragraph 415 of the Royal Commission's Report on the Civil Service?
§ Mr. EDENI have been asked to reply. His Majesty's Government have taken 1125W note of the recommendation made in paragraph 415 of the Report of the Royal Commission on the Civil Service, and, in order to give effect thereto, my right hon. Friend proposes shortly to set up a committee to advise him on the matter, so that the Government may have all the facts and information before them necessary to enable them to examine the position.
