§ Mr. GROVESasked the Minister of Pensions if he will inquire into the circumstances attending the refusal of allowance to Mrs. E. Hampshire, 11, Napier Road, E.15, in respect to the death of her husband, Frank Hampshire, Case No. 11/W/52,393?
§ Major TRYONMrs. Hampshire's late husband suffered from a disability which was not caused by his war service, though it was accepted as slightly aggravated by it, and was compensated in accordance with an award of the Pensions Appeal Tribunal by a temporary allowance which had expired many years before his death. While his widow was thus not eligible for 1887W a pension under the terms of the Order in Council, special consideration has been given to the case, hut I am advised that the circumstances of her husband's death do not warrant exceptional action being taken in her case.
