§ Mr. ORMSBY-G0REThe Endell Street building is held on lease for 21 years from 25th December, 1928, but it would be contrary to precedent and the public interest to disclose the rent or rates payable in respect of any individual premises. The renewal of the existing lease when it expires will depend on the circumstances and conditions then prevailing, and, in regard to the last part of the question, there are no alternative premises available under the direct control of my Department in which the staff could be rehoused.
