§ Sir P. CUNLIFFE-LISTERThe High Commissioner for Palestine has authorised for the half year commencing 1st April a labour computation schedule for 4,500 men and 1,000 women. In my reply to the right hon. and gallant Member for Newcastle-under-Lyme (Colonel Wedgwood) on the 3rd April (of which I am sending my hon. Friend a copy) I explained the general position in regard to immigration into Palestine.
