HC Deb 03 March 1933 vol 275 cc699-700W
Mr. HICKS

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty how many motor ambulances attached to Naval establishments have been withdrawn during the past six months; what are the places concerned; and what alternative arrangements have been made in each case to provide adequate alternative transport in the case of serious accident?

Lord STANLEY:

As a measure of economy, an ambulance has been withdrawn from the Royal Naval Armament Depot at Priddy's Hard. Arrangements have been made for any transport facilities to be provided by the Royal Naval Hospital at Haslar where several ambulances are maintained.
