asked the Attorney-General when Her Majesty's Government propose to consolidate the contents of the Oil Taxation Act (1982 edition) in one comprehensive Act on petroleum law.

The Solicitor-General

It is proposed to initiate work on oil taxation as soon as resources permit. Preliminary work on the consolidation of other aspects of petroleum law has already been carried out. It is considered unlikely that all aspects of petroleum law could be included in a single Bill.
