27. Sir David Priceasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will propose at the next ministerial neeting of the Council of Europe that, following 1985 as the European Year of Music, 1986 or a subsequent year should be designated as the European Year of flowers and gardens and that appropriate competitions an ceremonies should be instituted.
