HC Deb 20 July 1933 vol 46 c141W
Dr. Roger Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he has received any communication from the British Medical Association seeking the implementation of proposals contained in the British Medical Association's scientific committee's report on civil defence in a nuclear context.

Mr. Hurd

We have received no communication from the British Medical Association about implementation of its Report "The Medical Effects of Nuclear War". But following its recent decision to co-operate with us on civil defence planning, we hope shortly to discuss with it how this can be taken forward.
